We are currently recruiting an Operations and Project Manager for our Market Street Fashion Boutique.
ABOUT THE JOB
The Operations and Project Manager at Chanel plays a pivotal role in ensuring that operations and processes within the boutique are compliant and effective to support an industry-leading client and employee experience. This role is essential in upholding the brand's image and optimizing the boutique's operational efficiency.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Operations and Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of boutique operations and leading various projects to enhance both client and employee experiences. You will ensure all Standard Operating Procedures are rigorously followed and updated as needed, and lead a team dedicated to maintaining high standards of service and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensures that boutique SOPs are rigorously followed and implemented, emphasizing where relevant to the teams the importance of compliance to internal standards & external regulations in upholding the brand image.
2. Works with stakeholders in formulating and updating boutique and market SOPs that are pragmatic and applicable for day-to-day operations.
3. Manages vendor relationship and boutique procurement matters.
4. Devotes time with relevant stakeholders on emerging topics such as, but not limited to, Omnichannel processes, Occupational Health and Safety, Risk Management and Sustainability.
5. Constantly looks out for the operational best practices from outside the boutique and applies them based on boutique specifications.
6. Systematically improves operational efficiency in the boutique, including product flow, inventory management and process re-design.
7. Works closely with Office Retail Operations Team to implement relevant operations projects and tools at the boutique level.
8. Motivates and inspires the Boutique Support Team in setting the highest standard for client and employee experience.
9. Works with L&D stakeholders on learning and development plans for team members.

10. At least 5 years of retail operation experience, including 3 years in team management.
11. Previous working experience in the fashion or luxury industry is a plus.
12. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
13. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
14. A strategic mindset with strong business acumen.
15. Ability to translate high-level concepts into practical actions.
16. Commitment to continuous learning and development.
