About the Role:
We are seeking to recruit experienced Registered Nurses to join our Peri-Operative departments in various roles, in a full-time, part-time or casual capacity. This is a fantastic opportunity in the private healthcare community for highly motivated candidates with extensive skill sets and sound knowledge of the standards pertaining to Peri-Operative Nursing.
As a Registered Nurse (Critical Care), your responsibilities will include:
* Deliver safe, research-based standards of nursing care
* Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care
* Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end-of-life needs
* Lead successful quality improvement and safety management projects to deliver desired outcomes
* Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
* Act as a role model for Safe Practice
About You:
* Minimum 2 years’ Registered Nursing in a Perioperative/PACU Environment with Australian Nursing practice
* Minimum 5 years’ Registered Nursing in a Perioperative/PACU Environment with International Nursing Practice
* Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
* Post Graduate Certificate or working towards in Perioperative (Desirable)
* Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
* Advanced Life Support Certificate (or working towards)
* Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
* Working with Children check (willing to obtain)
* Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement
* Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high-functioning team
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer-focused
