This position offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work with children, birth parents and foster carers, in a role that encourages permanency and best outcomes for children in foster care.The agency provides regular supervision and support for all staff and opportunities for professional development.Minimum Requirements Bachelor level degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Psychology or related disciplineExcellent verbal and written skills, with the demonstrated ability to write reports to a professional standardDemonstrated ability to work with clients and manage challenging situations in a high pace environmentHighly developed organisational skills and demonstrated ability to meet competing deadlinesAbility to work professionally, upholding standards of case management including policies and procedures of the Out of Home care ProgramCommitment to the Values and Mission statement of Wesley MissionExperience working with children and families.Remuneration Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services (SCHADS) Industry Award 2010.
