The Department forInfrastructure and Transport (DIT) has diverse responsibilities fortransport systems and services, infrastructure planning andprovision within South Australia.
Duties
The Customer Insight and Data Analyst analyses data to derivemeaningful insights about public transport patronage and trends.The Customer Insight and Data Analyst provides expert advice on abroad range of complex issues where outcomes will contribute tostrategic objectives and finds innovative ways to translate andcommunicate statistical information through adopting interactivedata visualisation tools to inform and influence the decisions ofthe key stakeholders.
As the Customer Insight and Data Analyst, you willrequire:
1. Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills to be able to formulate data and present to key stakeholders.
2. Knowledge of business/data analysis principles and concepts
3. Experience in data visualisation tools, specifically Power BI and Tableau
4. Experience working in AWS cloud environment.
5. Strong understanding of SQL and other databases, ability to query data from disparate data sources
Requirements
Tertiary qualification in Data Science / Analytics / IT orcomparative equivalent experience.
SpecialConditions
The successful candidate will be required to provide a NationalPolice Check prior to employment with the Department. Additionalemployment checks may be required relevant to the role beingundertaken as outlined in the role statement.
Some out of hours and weekend work, along with someintra/interstate travel may be required.
Remuneration
ASO5 -$83,273 to $92,614 per annum
