The RoleThe Accounts Payable (AP) Officer works within a team to manage the AP function, collaborating with both the Finance team and internal and external stakeholders.
The main responsibility is to process invoices, credit notes, and other supplier documents while ensuring timely and accurate payment coordination as required by the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
The role emphasizes accuracy, timeliness, and fostering a positive team environment through open and honest communication.The Successful Candidate Would Be Responsible ForEnter invoices in Xero for multiple jurisdictions, ensuring correct General Ledger coding.Ensure all invoices are authorised by the respective manager before processing.Coordinate payments to suppliers within terms or as directed by the CFO.Upload bank files correctly and process customer refunds weekly.Manage employee reimbursements and administer Paytron/OFX.File and archive accounting records securely and provide AP Aged Trial Balances with monthly commentary.Complete monthly Supplier Statement Reconciliations, respond to emails within 48 hours, and liaise with Paytron to ensure accurate processing.Your ExperienceAt least 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable Officer role within large companies, with expertise in high-volume reconciliations.Strong data entry skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines consistently.Professional phone manner, calm under pressure, and clear communication skills.Excellent organisation, time management, and prioritisation abilities.Proficiency in ERP systems, Excel, and exposure to Xero, with well-presented written and verbal skills.The perksCompetitive remuneration package and career progression opportunities.Ready Industries supports our employees by providing an Employee Assistance Program to all staff across the business.About UsReady Industries is a recognised multi-national company that retains many successful businesses including but not exclusive of: 1300TempFence, 1300SiteCam, 1300Hoarding and SiteHQ.
