The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:Working with referring therapists, clients, and suppliers to coordinate and lead clinical appointments/trials and the prescription of a range of different types of equipment including manual and powered wheelchairs, power assist devices, strollers, bathroom aids, seating solutions, walkers, and standing frames.Performing clinical assessments and maintaining accurate records of assessment outcomes and recommendations.Following established administrative processes, with the support of a team, to oversee the quoting and supply of equipment.Liaising with our workshop technicians regarding any equipment modifications or customisations.Attending regular in-house CPD sessions as well as contributing to the development and presentation of clinical education sessions and product demonstrations to small and large groups.Maintaining current professional knowledge and skills for competency and practice within own abilities and qualifications.About YouOur ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy) or Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy).Min. 3 years previous clinical experience, preferably within the disability sector or in a role involving seating/equipment prescription.Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.Experience in postural assessment and anthropometric measuring.A good sense of humour and the ability to roll up your sleeves and deal with most situations.A high standard of interpersonal skills, and verbal and written communication skills.Proven ability to establish priorities, manage time, and stay on top of administration tasks while working both autonomously and as part of a team.Willingness to learn and/or ability to adjust, resize, and assemble mobility aids and equipment.AHPRA registration.Current Western Australian Driver's Licence.Working With Children Check.Police Clearance.Application ProcessYour application will include the following questions:Do you have a current Working With Children (WWC) Check?How many years' experience do you have as an occupational therapist?Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?Are you currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)?Do you have a current Police Check (National Police Certificate) for employment?Do you have a current Australian driver's licence?
