This involves supervising the AVB Help Desk, ensuring the high availability of critical systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of AV and broadcast technology by proactively addressing and resolving user issues. Additionally, the specialist manages support workflows with vendors, suppliers, and contractors working on a wide range of AVB systems.The AV Systems Specialist plays an active role in the Parliament's strategic planning, developing and implementing strategies to improve processes, services, and Back-of-House operations across all AVB areas. They also leverage their knowledge and expertise to contribute to NSW Parliament projects that upgrade systems or introduce new services.About you The ideal candidate for the AV Systems Specialist role has significant experience in the audiovisual industry, including live AV operations, installation, cabling, and technical proficiency with specialised and integrated AV systems. You will have a proven track record in implementing bespoke audiovisual solutions with an emphasis on IP-based audio and video technologies.With experience in administration and business planning, you will contribute to the development of operational guidelines, policy proposals, and strategic plans, with a focus on data-driven reporting to senior management.
