The role
As our Media and Corporate Affairs Lead, you'll be at the forefront of building and protecting UniSuper's reputation. You'll design and implement integrated media relations, manage issues, and drive public relations strategies that increase brand awareness and support member engagement.
* Be the first point of contact for media enquiries, crafting compelling releases and statements
* Identify opportunities to promote UniSuper across earned and owned channels
* Manage relationships with our PR agency and key stakeholders
* Create and maintain our media messaging playbook
* Train and support our internal spokespeople
* Lead communications during critical moment
About you
A superb communicator with extensive experience in media management, you are cool under pressure, can think on your feet and have a knack for problem solving. Passionate about making a difference in people's financial futures we would also love for you to demonstrate your
* Ability to manage a broad range of stakeholders, including the executive leadership team
* Time management and prioritisation skills ensuring efficiency
* Creativity and commercial acumen in analysing and creating compelling stories with data
* Ability to work independently and self-start
* Experience in Superannuation or investment relations (highly regarded)
