We are in need of casual and permanent part-time Direct Support Workers to support clients in Little Mountain, Caloundra, Maroochydore and Peregian Springs.
As a Direct Support Worker, you’ll be an integral part of the lives of people of all ages and backgrounds. You will assist with:
1. Providing personal care support, including showering, toileting, dressing and more
2. Administering medications
3. Transferring individuals using hoists and slide sheets, and general assistance with mobility
4. Domestic duties including cleaning, laundry or meal preparation.
5. Community engagement, such as attending doctors' appointments, grocery shopping or other social or recreational activities of their choice.
This role is ideal for people who:
6. Are looking for casual work with availability for morning, afternoon, overnight and weekends shifts.
7. Have experience in disability support work.
8. Are great communicators dedicated to providing the best service for every person.

Before you commence, you will need:
20. Current First Aid and CPR certificates
21. A Blue Card (Working with Children Card)
22. An NDIS Worker Screening Check (Working with Individuals with Disabilities, formerly a Yellow Card)
23. Commitment to infection prevention and control measures including the use of PPE as directed
24. A smartphone with an iOS 13.0 and up operating system or an Android 6.0 and up operating system
