About the role
Main tasks: Share your focus between leading a small team and also managing a select portfolio of clients, particularly those in the mining, oil, gas, and industrial sectors.
Other tasks:
* Drive business development, build strong client relationships and ensure the highest quality products and services are delivered.
* Develop tailored solutions for key accounts to meet client needs
* Manage a blend of quick and longer sales cycles
* Conduct product demos to promote new and existing products
* Collaborate with an experienced management team to drive revenue growth
* Support the professional development and performance of your team members
* Contribute to the business's ongoing success by fostering strong client relationships and market presence.

What you must have to apply for this role:
* Proven experience in senior sales roles, ideally in mining, oil, gas, industrial, or similar sectors
* Strong leadership & team management experience with a hands-on approach
* Demonstrable ability to manage large accounts & build long-term client relationships.
You will be highly regarded if you also have:
* Experience in industrial consumables or equipment sales.
* A blend of technical trade knowledge & sales expertise
* A commercial mindset with a down-to-earth approach
* Experience leading product demonstrations or conducting training sessions.
