The Manager City Businesses position requires a commercially driven and innovative approach to oversee the city's business operations, leveraging its unique strategic location as a national transport node, providing connections to road, rail, and air infrastructure.

* Develop and implement effective strategies to drive commercial growth and innovation in the city's business sector.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders, including government agencies, businesses, and community groups, to promote economic development and enhance the city's reputation.
* Manage and maintain relationships with major investors, developers, and other partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
* Proven experience in a senior leadership or management role, preferably in a related field such as urban planning, economic development, or business management.
* Strong understanding of commercial principles, business strategy, and financial management.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
