ABOUT THE ROLE:
Do you want to make a difference in your community? Is teaching and training others your passion? If so, you might be the perfect fit for our NEST Program Coordinator position!
Due to increased demand for our NEST (Nutrition Education Skills Training) program, we are growing our NEST Team in Canberra! As a NEST Program Coordinator, your work will involve coordinating and delivering our NEST program, a six-week program that teaches adults how to cook and eat healthily on a tight budget. Travelling to different charitable agencies each week, you will be responsible for facilitating fun and interactive sessions that include nutrition and food literacy activities, practical cooking lessons, and always ending with a meal together.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
* Experience in delivering nutrition and health education programs to a diverse range of people
* Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
* A current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
* A positive attitude, a sense of humour, and a passion for food, education and sustainability
This is a full-time contract position, starting 20th January 2025 and ending 30th June 2025.
