Midwest Medical Workforce are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and motivated administrative specialist to the role of Medical Workforce Officer.This is a Fixed Term appointment for 6 months to cover a period of parental leave, with possibility of extension and or permanency, at various hours to be negotiated with Manager.Flexibility in hours including family friendly hours can be explored.Position Profile: The Medical Workforce Officer provides a confidential, customer focused administrative service for the Medical Services portfolio and is assigned the following activities:Recruitment and onboarding processes to enable doctors to commence in the region,Rostering and pay processes to enable doctors to work in the region and be paid,Offboarding processes to enable doctors to depart from the region.Eligibility to Apply: To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).Other Conditions: WA Health engages staff in positions of trust and responsibility.
WA Health policies require applicants to undertake criminal records screening and integrity checking as part of the appointment process.
