Job Title: Therapeutic Specialist - Launceston
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Child Trauma Counsellor/Therapeutic Specialist in Launceston to work across our statewide therapeutic out-of-home care service program and the recently secured contract for counselling services to children and young people affected by family violence.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry a varied caseload across our therapeutic programs
* Initial intake, counseling, group work with children, young people, and their carers
* Clinical leadership and training professionals and carers in trauma-informed therapeutic approaches
About You
We are looking for candidates with:
* An appropriate tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, or a related discipline
* Eligibility for membership of the relevant professional association
* Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and direct service in the clinical assessment and treatment of children, young people, and families
