About the RoleAn exciting opportunity to join the Quality Assurance (Non-Food) team has become available within the National Buying department of ALDI Stores, based in Minchinbury NSW.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract position.
As a Quality Assurance (QA) Assistant, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing product compliance, safety and testing with suppliers, Technical Service Providers and other stakeholders.
You will also consult with buying teams to bring quality electrical products to the market.
The successful candidate will be a QA professional with a technical background in electrical or electronics.
You will demonstrate a strong understanding of product safety, regulatory compliance and product specifications with a focus on delivering quality products our customers love.
We are looking for a passionate, proactive and highly organised team player, with a strong eye for detail.
What does the role look like?
Prepare, design and facilitate product compliance testingDevelop and communicate technical information to key stakeholdersCollaborate with the broader Buying department and Technical Service ProvidersSupport the implementation of quality and safety processesDevelop, implement and maintain product performance requirementsEnsure product compliance with mandatory standards, requirements and policiesManage the performance of external testing laboratories and Technical Service ProvidersConduct product testing to provide stakeholders with detailed performance reportsDemonstrated ability to provide recommendations based on analysis and testing resultsInvestigate customer returns and complaints.
What do we need from you
Demonstrated test laboratory work experience highly desirableDemonstrated experience within the QA, Electrical or Manufacturing industryTertiary education within the electrical, electronics or engineering field preferredKnowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations and product label complianceExperience in the development of product specifications, technical investigation and report writingExperience in performing quality assessmentsPrevious experience communicating technical information to stakeholders.
