Quality Engineering Specialist – 56219 Permanent Sydney Part of the UNITE Program How will I help? You will be working as part of the Quality Engineering team providing all Quality functions for the Line Of Business, this includes provision of Data Services. The Data Services team is a new team within the MLOB Quality engineering team responsible provision of consulting expertise on DDEP, Adapt and the Data Migration Factory. Your key responsibilities will include: Develop data-related plans, proposals, cost spreadsheets and other artifacts to obtain management and project approvals Analyze & report critical issues / risks to the Qualit Engineering Manager in a timely manner Assist other colleagues with technical support and improvement processes All tasks assigned and carried out must be performed in accordance with all relevant internal Bank policies, standards and external legislative requirements. Participate in the planning and execution of data refreshes and upgrades. Coordinate data and data migration design, build & shakedown tests as required for Unite program What’s in it for me? To be successful in this role, candidates must have strong experience as an IT test environment engineer, with a strong grasp of environment management and configuration. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are essential, along with a relevant degree in engineering or IT. Additionally, experience with virtualisation and cloud technologies, including cloud certifications, is highly desirable. Proficiency in scripting and automation tools, as well as familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, will be advantageous. Candidates should also demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
