The Role As part of a planned restructuring in anticipation for future growth, we are seeking applications for the newly created position of Production Manager. Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager, you will have responsibility to plan, monitor and manage all production activities including adherence to HSE policies and procedures; training, competency management and personnel development; equipment maintenance, contingency and replacement planning, resource and production planning; and supporting the Supply Chain Manager in the preparation of forecasting, reporting and associated administration. This is a full-time position, based in Toormina, NSW. Key Responsibilities Manage and lead HSE initiatives across the production department Champion the adoption and implementation of Lean initiatives across production areas Plan and manage production scheduling in accordance with quoted delivery times, contractual arrangements and budgets. Ensure that stakeholders (e.g. sales team) are updated regarding any changes to current job status on a daily basis Co-ordinate and oversee preventative maintenance of all production equipment and machinery according to schedules, including calibration of equipment where appropriate Develop and maintain equipment renewal, upgrade and replacement programme Ensure quality standards are met and final quality check of products prior to despatch Monitor and facilitate training and development of staff to ensure appropriate resource availability to meet production capacity demands Prepare and provide data and other information to support forecasting and reporting requirements Personal Requirements This a challenging and rewarding role for the right candidate.
