And now’s the time. Your opportunity We're seeking a self- driven and a motivated leader to come on board in the role of a Senior .Net Developer to build and lead our software development team. This is a permanent full time role based at Barangaroo, Sydney. This role will be helmed by the Senior Manager, Strategy, Architecture & Business Change. The Senior .Net Developer will lead the development team in the delivery of fit for purpose and reliable software solutions from definition, coding and testing and through to production deployment and will collaborate with cross-functional teams, typically working in an Agile SCRUM framework to ensure that output is completed within the set time boxes and adheres to the definition of done. Here’s how your impact will truly count: Establish and maintain adherence to coding, user experience and application architecture standards Estimate coding effort and establish frameworks for continual monitoring of effort estimate accuracy Manage release planning and deployment of code and database changes into test and production environments to meet the requirements of the sprint and production release cadence Diagnose and resolve production incidents and BAU service requests Coach and mentor team members to ensure team goals are shared, understood and all team members are actively contributing and working collaboratively to achieve goals and deliver outputs What you’ll bring Extensive experience in contemporary coding methods, languages and technology working across multiple or all components of a software solution in C#.Net & .Net (Maui) Extensive experience in coding and developing and demonstrated experience in leading teams Demonstrated experience working as a developer in Agile delivery teams Solid understanding SCRUM principals and ceremonies Solid understanding of Product Owner, SCRUM master and SCRUM Developer roles. Experience working with standard IT processes for Incident Management, Service Delivery and Change Management Excellent communications skills, stakeholder management skills and an appetite to learn Good problem solving and analytical skills Experience in the following technology stack is not mandatory but will be advantageous JavaScript Visual Basic MS SQL (Stored Procedures) Restful API Microsoft Authentication Microsoft Azure cloud and on-premise platforms Microsoft Web Application Firewalls What matters most is that you have an appetite to learn as well as coach to be a role model for an equally self- driven and motivated team.
