Job Description:
The Sales/Partnership Associate will have a unique opportunity to play a cross-functional role, touching various departments including Sales, Operations, Product, and IT/Tech. The position demands a strong knack for networking, a strategic sales approach, and a solid foundation in marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Launch of the insert marketing business in AU/NZ - Identify and engage with procurement hubs of newspapers and e-commerce entities, among others.
* Broaden our procurement vendor database by continually identifying new partners.
* Establish standardized SLAs with partner entities, analyzing and communicating logistical nuances such as delivery timelines, procedures, insert capacity, and audience demographics.
* Collaborate with the data team to devise a model that allows Oppizi to pilot this new business initiative.
* Assist the Product team in understanding the core elements of this new business, ensuring software development is tailored to client needs.
Sales and Negotiation:
* Manage the negotiation and closing of new business deals (inbound and outbound).
* Develop and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to potential clients.
* Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition of new clients and to achieve revenue targets.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
* Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the print industry, business development, sales, or a related field, with a proven track record of securing new business deals.
* Knowledge of the ANZ media buying market is appreciated but not required.
* Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies, with a focus on achieving revenue and growth targets.
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
* Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions and drive business performance.
* Strong skills in Google Spreadsheets and Excel.
* Strong CRM and data/reporting management skills (preferably Hubspot).
* Willingness to travel as needed for team meetings/training, client meetings, and industry events.
