Full Time, HospitalityPlease Quote Reference Number 97982 Experienced General / Venue Manager Competitive remuneration package on offer South West coastal venue We are currently looking for a General / Venue Manager to join our South West coastal venue.There are plenty of opportunities for a manager to lead our team and drive the continued success of our establishment.You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of bar, accommodation, bottleshop, function, restaurant and TAB operations.You will lead a dedicated team to ensure exceptional customer service, efficient operations and a positive work environment.Your strategic vision and hands-on leadership will be key to maintaining high standards and driving business growth.Key Responsibilities : Leadership and Team Management Recruit, train and manage staff across all departments Foster a positive and productive work environment Apply a hands-on approach to service and be willing to assist staff during busy periods Operations Management Oversee daily operations of the hotel to ensure smooth functioning.Implement and maintain operational procedures and standards Oversee inventory and ordering of stock for the bottleshop and hotel supplies Ensure compliance with health, safety and licensing regulations Customer Service Maintain high standards of customer service and address any customer issues or feedback Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest experiences and satisfaction Financial Management Develop and manage budget, financial forecasts and reports.Monitor and control expenses to achieve financial targets.Drive sales growth and identify opportunities for revenue enhancement.Marketing & Community Engagement Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and community groups Plan and promote events and special activities to boost hotel and motel visibility.Facility Management Ensure that the hotel, restaurant, accommodation, bar and bottleshop are well-maintained and presentable.Oversee maintenance and repair work as needed.Implement cleanliness and safety protocols to meet high standards. Qualifications : Proven experience as a Venue Manager or in a similar managerial role within the hospitality industry.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.Solid understanding of financial management and budgeting.Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of health, safety and licensing regulations.Familiarity with marketing strategies and community engagement.Proficiency in using POS systems and other relevant software.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
