The Role
As an Assistant Development Manager, you will work with Development Team in all aspects of development works, including overall development management of existing assets or new developments across different sector classes ranging from commercial, retail, residential, industrial and logistics projects.
Job Responsibilities
Providing the development team assistance with:
1. conceptualizing development design requirements and formulate design briefs to ensure that these are aligned with the Company’s development strategy.
2. managing the development of design concept/options.
3. managing the design consultants and liaise with all relevant authorities for approval of projects, managing tender and award processes, as well as construction and contract administration.
4. managing the development process from inception through to completion.
5. ensuring the projects are completed within budget, schedule, expected quality and comply with the regulatory requirements and corporate governance.
6. administering agreements with design consultants and contractors including procurement, establishment of service agreements and processing of invoices.
Job Requirements
7. Relevant development or project management experience in the execution of Commercial, Retail, Residential, Industrial or Logistics projects is highly desirable.
8. Someone who seeks continuous improvement to the design and processes through consistently questioning the status quo or value engineering the optimum solution to all aspects of development.
9. Possess high level of independence, cultural sensitivity, endurance and adaptability, demonstrate excellent leadership to drive projects, team player.
10. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 software is essential.
11. Experience in, or a willingness to learn the following software platforms is essential: SAP, Ariba and Aconex.
