The role A new role for Auto and General, the Information Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing Auto & General's information architecture, with a focus on enhancing data accessibility, usability, and quality across the organisation. This role will play a key part in improving data management practices, ultimately driving alignment with Auto & General's business objectives. Developing and maintaining conceptual, logical, and physical data architecture models. Creating and managing metadata standards, taxonomies, and ontologies. Implementing and enforcing data governance policies and procedures. Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across designs. Data Integration: Designing data integration solutions. Collaborating with data analysts and scientists to support data-driven decision-making. Ensure data security and privacy by implementing appropriate measures. Documentation: Create and maintain clear and concise architecture documentation of data models, processes, and standards. Learning and understanding APRA's prudential standards and guidelines, supporting their implementation within the organisation. Assisting with the identification and assessment of operational, financial, and reputational risks associated with the organisation's activities. Contributing to the development and maintenance of a robust risk management framework, including policies, procedures, and controls. What experience you’ll bring 7 years of experience in Enterprise/ Information architecture or a related field, with 2 years of minimum experience as an Information Architect developing architectural frameworks Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF, business and IT principles and processes First class interpersonal skills with ability to build consensus and articulate a information roadmap/ strategy Knowledge of components for business models, operating models, financial models, cost benefit analysis, budgeting, and risk management Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Experience in distilling complex business needs and technical change into clear direction. Experience with digital application development for both online customers and internal business users Knowledge and experience of AWS/ GCP features and how best to use them in designing solutions Insurance or financial services knowledge is desirable Our Perks Location : All Sites with a preference for Toowong.
