Job Summary:
In this role as Demi Chef in our Events kitchen, you will support the Chef de Cuisine Jose Soulard in maintaining high-quality product and service standards. Collaborating with talented chefs, you will contribute to creating innovative and flavorful culinary experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Chef de Cuisine in the day-to-day running of the Events kitchen
* Taking ownership of designated workstations
* Ensuring quality and consistency of all food leaving the kitchen
* Supporting Commis' and Apprentice Chefs in the brigade
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Chef in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
* Certificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
* Full work rights and flexible availability for a 7-day roster
* Comprehensive knowledge of various cooking techniques, international cuisines, and food preparation methods
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional culinary experiences
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative team work
* Passion for culinary arts and drive for continuous learning and improvement
