About The Role:
As a Senior Full Stack Developer for Social Pinpoint, you will work with a team of developers building out new product features and maintaining a best-in-class platform. Reporting to the development manager and guided by our Technical Lead, you will employ your experience in not only hands-on development but also in building team skills and expertise and informing the architectural roadmap.
Responsibilities:
* Provide technical input to product support and assist in supporting product operations including response to critical events, triage, systems analysis and postmortem activities.
* Via code reviews, feedback and coaching, help build the overall team standards for quality, performance and security best practice.
* Provide architectural input and subject matter support for areas of expertise within the application stack.
* Attend developer meetings and stand-ups and contribute with your knowledge and experience.
* Consult with departments or customers on project status and proposal.
* Troubleshoot and debug software issues.
Skills & Experience:
* Advanced knowledge of testing strategies: including automated testing frameworks, and experience in ensuring code quality and reliability.
* Experience with large-scale or high-impact projects: including system architecture, performance optimisation, and deployment strategies.
* Deep understanding of Agile practice and development methodologies.
* Ability to mentor and guide junior and intermediate developers.
* Experience with design patterns and software engineering principles: University degrees are not a requirement, but good software engineering principles, use of design patterns and writing clean code is a must.
* Exposure to cloud technologies: We deploy on AWS and Azure cloud environments with Terraform. Exposure to this is a plus.
