This includes all existing integration platforms and services and is also accountable for the emerging platform requirements. This role involves the implementation, application and support of new platforms and services that facilitate the change and transformation agenda, maintain business continuity of the heritage estate, and eventually retire heritage solutions in favour of modern technology. This role also owns the newly, purpose-built Event Management platform on Google Cloud and services, a product fundamental to the operation and enablement of the core business.Reporting directly into the General Manager of Corporate Technology you’ll be responsible for Technology Change and Run of Integration Services supporting the organisation, including business continuity, compliance, and security obligations. Planning and managing the duality of modern and heritage platforms in parallel to maintain business continuity over the period of a change agenda will be evidenced. The individual in the role will have extensive experience influencing decisions, and leading teams local to the organisation and through strategic partnerships to achieve those outcomes. This is an enterprise role that runs horizontally and enables all vertical lines of business, with accountability for thousands of purpose-built integration services. You’ll partner with the large enterprise programs for the business to enable the integration and orchestration of their change agenda.You’ll also be accountable forCommercial performance including cost management, software and hardware costs, labour (including contract and consulting services) and any other financial metrics to the running of the integration platforms.Ensure the core technology platforms have maximised uptime, throughput and response time utilising agreed baselined SLA’s.Long-term health of the platform including associated investment planning, demand and supply planning, feature requests and backlog planning related to the technology platform or enabling line of business projects and programs.Continuous service improvement and operational efficiency of supply chain and/or third parties in delivering services specific to their platform / enabling service.End-to-end technology delivery lifecycle services (plan, build, test, run), including projects, minor works and BAU changes that which also may involve more than one business platform.Capacity planning, software/hardware lifecycle management, technical debt remediation for the platforms and compliance.About youWe are seeking a motivated individual with extensive people leadership experience, particularly of technology personnel within large and complex organisations. The key internal stakeholders are largely from the Enterprise Services Leadership team including the CTO and fellow Heads of Technology. You’ll also get to build relationships with Strategic Partners and Vendors.
