This role also involves managing critical payroll compliance functions, including WorkCover claims and processes, making it an integral part of supporting the health and safety of our workforce.
About You Minimum 5 years' experience working in similar payroll roles, including end-to-end payroll for 1000+ employeesExperience using Employment Hero (or similar) softwareStrong understanding of WorkCover processes and obligationsAbility to consistently meet regular deadlines and manage time effectivelyAttention to detail and accuracy in record keepingAbility to communicate proactively and work collaboratively with the Payroll Team, Accounts Team, and Centre staffResponsibilities Processing payroll transactions efficiently on a fortnightly/monthly basis for a team of 1000+ staff members, ensuring the accuracy of timesheets and leave applicationsManaging WorkCover claims, including monitoring, and reconciliation of payments to ensure compliance with relevant legislationGenerating weekly reports on centre hours for the director and operations managerConducting monthly and annual reconciliations of key payroll accounts, including superannuation, WorkCover, parental leave, and Single Touch Payroll (STP) requirementsSupport the Payroll Team Leader in reviewing and overseeing payroll processing and end of month reconciliation and reportingTrain and mentor other members of the Payroll teamWhy Aspire?
