Qualified Traffic Management Planning OfficerJoin Regional Victoria's biggest Traffic Planning TeamAre you passionate about creating safe and efficient traffic management plans?We're looking for a qualified Victorian Traffic Planner to join our current team of five who are based at GAME's Head Office in Shepparton.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing traffic management plans (TMPs) and traffic guidance schemes (TGSs) that comply with Austroads Guides to Temporary Traffic Management, Victorian legislation and codes of practice, and internal specific policies and procedures.What You'll Do:Develop accurate and timely traffic management plans (TMPs) in line with legislation, company policies, and relevant standards.Conduct risk and hazard assessments, documenting controls in all plans.Collaborate with customers, on-road staff, Department of Transport (DoT), local councils, emergency services, and other authorities to ensure comprehensive traffic management plans are accurately completed.Manage DoT and Council permit applications and requirements efficiently.Communicate operational requirements within your team and other Key Stakeholders within GAME to ensure smooth implementation of TMPs.What we're looking for in our successful candidate:Current accreditation in Prepare a Work Zone Traffic Management Plan (RIICWD503D) or at least Traffic Management Designer Skill Set for Urban Streets and Low Volume Rural Roads (RIISS00063) (AustRoads TMD1).A current driver's license.Understanding of safety management systems, practices, and procedures.Strong motivation to promote and communicate safe work practices.Experience in hazard minimization recommendations.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with a results focus.Self-motivated, proactive, and solutions-driven.Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.Strong administrative skills and computer literacy.Why Join Us?If you are our successful candidate, we have the following benefits ready to offer you:Being part of a supportive and dynamic team of six.If you are holding PWZ Qualifications, you will be supported to upgrade qualifications to new AustRoads Training Standards before they expire.If you are holding TMD1 you will be supported to increase your qualifications to TMD2 & 3 in the first 12 months of employment.Access to GAME's EAP program.Generous remuneration package including "Loyalty Leave" following two years of service.GAME branded corporate uniform and onsite uniform and PPE.A re-location incentive where the successful candidate is required to move to take up the role.Option to work out of our Bendigo, Wangaratta or Shepparton Office.Work for one of Australia's largest social enterprises, knowing that your work is making a difference to local youth across regional Victoria and NSW.If you're ready to take on this exciting role in regional Victoria and contribute to our mission of creating safer roads, while giving back to your local community, we'd love to hear from you!How to Apply: Applications will be accepted until 3pm on Thursday 17th April 2025.
