As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and versatile Senior Financial Accountant to join our team and play a key role in our financial success.About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and resourceful individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You'll be a key member of our finance team, responsible for a broad range of financial accounting tasks. We're looking for a "jack of all trades" who can contribute across various areas, bringing their expertise to ensure the smooth and efficient financial operations of SDA Abodes.Key Responsibilities (include but not limited to):Preparation and analysis of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standardsManagement of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.Preparation and lodgement of BAS and other statutory compliance requirements.Budgeting and forecasting, including variance analysis and reporting.Cash flow management and forecasting.Reconciliation of bank accounts and other key balance sheet accounts.Assisting with the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.Liaising with external auditors and other stakeholders.Contributing to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the finance function.Providing ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.What We're Looking For:3-4+ years of experience in a financial accounting role, ideally with exposure to a NDIS and SDAA Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.CPA or CA qualification (or working towards it)Strong understanding of taxation regulations.Proven ability to prepare accurate and timely financial reports.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.A proactive and self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently.A genuine interest in contributing to the success of an organisation with a strong social purpose.What Are You Waiting For:Ready to take your financial accounting career to the next level and make a real impact?
