Western Plains will open mid-2025 and Corrections Victoria are now recruiting key roles to help shape the future operations of the facility.
About the role As the Workforce Engagement Support Officer, you will respond directly to general staff enquiries in an efficient manner to deliver timely and accurate administrative support to managers and employees.
This includes handling telephone calls from staffing groups advising of shift changes and general HR related enquiries.
You will triage queries to specialist staff areas within Western Plains and the Workforce Services team.
You will operate on a 24-hour roster and therefore will be required to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and public holidays and will be provided appropriate remuneration.
As the role is customer-facing within the facility, you will be required to work on-site.
About you You will be organised with the ability to prioritise and manage workloads.
You can work effectively with minimal supervision and provide exceptional customer service to employees.
Demonstrated experience providing corporate support services in government or large private sector organisations is desirable.
Experience with Microsoft Windows and MS Office applications is highly desirable.
A tertiary qualification is desirable but not required.
