You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to develop innovative solutions, manage system upgrades, and enhance processes to optimize performance. Your expertise in financial data reporting and database analytics will inform key university decisions, while your ability to maintain accurate documentation will support ongoing system development and future enhancements.QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEDegree qualifications in Information Technology, Finance or related discipline with relevant experience.Well-developed analytical skills with a proven ability to identify, diagnose and provide appropriate solutions to application errors, process inefficiencies and system improvements.Demonstrated experience in developing, supporting and testing of data and reporting solutions and an ability to write and utilise SQL and other scripting/programming languages.Demonstrated well-developed communication, interpersonal and influencing skills with proven ability to consult and liaise with varying levels of stakeholders whilst achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.Significant organisational, problem solving and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet competing deadlines, and an established record of exercising judgement and initiative in a complex work environment.Demonstrated ability to work under broad supervision delivering quality performance outcomes and contributing to business improvement initiatives.Demonstrated experience and competence in one of the following technologies: JAVA, HTML, SML/SXXLT, SQL and Reporting tools such as Cognos, Crystal Reports or PowerBI.Experience working in the higher education sector and familiarity with Finance systems such as TechnologyOne (desirable).Special ConditionsIt is a requirement of this position to occasionally work outside of the ordinary span of hours.HOW TO APPLY AND CONTACT DETAILSAre you ready to make a difference?
