This is a permanent vacancy in Cairns.Your new roleYour new role will be diverse and rewarding, responsible for Quality Control across current and upcoming projects. This role involves collating quality documentation from subcontractors and suppliers, conducting site inspections and audits, and ensuring all materials meet contract specifications.Key responsibilities include:Creating Integrated Management PlansWriting methodologies for the tendering processQuoting project materialsDocumenting, monitoring, and submitting all testing and inspection recordsCoordinating and scheduling field testing and inspectionsHandling project quality close-out, including handover documentation at job completionActive participation in operational meetingsProviding leadership to ensure compliance with established safety rulesWorking in a manner that exceeds Integrated Site Management Plans and statutory requirementsTaking reasonable steps to prevent pollution and protect the environmentComplying with all Work Health and Safety rules, policies, and proceduresWhat you'll need to succeedYou have extensive demonstrated civil construction experience in a similar position. You are enthusiastic, self-motivated, adaptable and possess excellent leadership abilities.
