The Civil Project Engineer serves two main functions within the group: Providing front-end tendering support, typically involving: Reviewing and developing civil concept designs Liaising with external civil/structural consultants Providing operational assistance to the Project Managers and Site Managers on active projects, ensuring: All civil construction works are completed on time Adherence to specifications Completion within budget Initially, you will be based on our Williamsdale BESS project, a 250 megawatt (MW) / 500 megawatt-hour (MWh) battery energy storage system (BESS) located south of Canberra.
If you are looking for your next challenge and want to be part of something exciting, we would love to hear from you! About You To be successful in this role, you will possess: Relevant experience as a Civil Project Engineer on High Voltage construction, particularly substation projects.
General knowledge of the High Voltage infrastructure industry, including project management, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning knowledge.
Knowledge of MS Project and Project Management principles.
High levels of attention to detail.
Highly motivated with a logical, practical, and planned approach.
