About the role As a Senior Development Manager, you will lead the delivery of high profile developments in the ACT. This pivotal role requires a strategic leader capable of overseeing project budgets, timelines, design, construction, and sales while ensuring the highest quality and safety standards. You will play a crucial part in shaping successful projects, driving profitability, and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction. Key Responsibilities for the role Develop and implement project strategies to achieve the best outcomes for all stakeholders. Ensure strict compliance with WHS legislation and company safety standards across all project phases. Manage the preparation of design briefs, development approvals and make recommendations on key appointments. Oversee the preparation and maintain budgets, cash flow and programs to ensure seamless delivery. Manage consultants and contractors during the design, documentation, construction and title registration phases. Liaise with government agencies to facilitate timely approvals and regulatory compliance. Collaborate closely with the Sales and Marketing Manager to create dynamic and effective sales and marketing strategies. Prepare comprehensive progress reports for senior management and joint venture partners. Lead consultants and contractors through the design, documentation, construction, and registration phases of development. Skills & experience Tertiary qualification in Engineering, with experience in Construction and Property. Strong experience in design engineering, project and financial management within property development. Background in sustainability, technology integration, infrastructure and mixed use environments. Outstanding time management, planning, commercial acumen. Proven leadership abilities with a track record of building robust relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
