They will provide technical advice and input into related fire safety community matters and support the development of fire safety policy.What you will need to SucceedTo be successful in this position, you will have:Relevant tertiary qualifications (i.e., town planning, building surveying, fire engineering, public safety or community safety or similar) (desirable)Demonstrated fire safety experience in the building industryProven experience in Land Use Planning with an understanding of the Victorian Planning ProvisionsAn understanding of operational firefighting and/or emergency services (desirable)Well-developed communication skills (written and verbal)An ability to develop and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to work effectively with competing priorities and time framesServing the Community, valuing teamwork, having integrity, showing respect and being accountable are core values at Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV).
