Grampians Health is seeking a Director of Nursing – Dimboola to provide strategic leadership and oversight across clinical and non-clinical teams at our Dimboola campus.
About the Role As the Director of Nursing – Dimboola, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality care outcomes for patients and residents in a safe, person-centered environment.
This role oversees the Dimboola High Care Community, four acute care beds, and Dimboola Support Services.
You will work closely with the leadership team, including other Directors of Nursing, the Director of Aged Care, and the General Manager, Aged and Community Care, to uphold excellence in aged care across Grampians Health.
Key Responsibilities Lead and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence in nursing and patient care.
Ensure compliance with Aged Care Standards and oversee reaccreditation processes.
Manage residential care standards, occupancy levels, and funding performance.
Drive quality improvement initiatives and best-practice care delivery.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance innovation, safety, and service continuity.
About You You are a proven leader with a commitment to person-centered care and clinical excellence.
You excel in managing multidisciplinary teams, driving innovation, and ensuring the highest standards in aged care delivery.
Registered Nurse with relevant postgraduate qualifications OR significant experience in Aged Care clinical practice.
Strong leadership and management experience in healthcare.
Knowledge of Aged Care Standards, compliance requirements, and funding models.
Desirable: Postgraduate qualification in Gerontology.
Master's degree in Nursing and/or Business Management.
