A prominent Federal Government Agency is seeking a skilled and experienced Business Analyst to support the modernisation of their intranet platform. This role involves conducting strategic analysis, translating UX and design visions into requirements, and collaborating with key stakeholders to develop a cohesive, agency-wide SharePoint solution. The successful Business Analyst will be offered a 12-month contract, with potential extension options
The successful Business Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to:
* Conduct strategic analysis to support the development of the SharePoint intranet platform.
* Collaborate closely with SharePoint Developers and stakeholders to shape an agency-wide intranet.
* Document business requirements and recommend governance practices for implementation.
* Facilitate workshops, produce reporting artefacts, and manage a portfolio of SharePoint sites.
The successful Business Analyst will have the following:
* Minimum 7 years of SharePoint experience in a government setting, including analytics, solutions, and UX integration.
* Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
* Proven ability to translate UX design into functional requirements and conduct user acceptance testing.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Cloud Platforms, including SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, and Azure (desirable).
