The Role
This is a great opportunity to join the well-established team at Felix. We are looking for a leader with maturity and management experience to fill the Head Chef position.
This role does not come up very often and is suited for someone looking for longevity in their next head chef role.
You will work closely and collaboratively with the venue head chef and exec chef of the Ivy Precinct, learning the fundamentals of working at Merivale and what it takes to be successful in one of our busiest venues.
Responsibilities
* Menu creation, development, driving, and inspiring a team of 25+ chefs.
* Working collaboratively with other key members of the restaurant team.
* Confidently working at a senior level while still being hands-on in the kitchen.
* Accountability for the kitchen financial results, including food and labour costs and forecasting targets.
