Your Role
We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Pay Systems & Compliance Analyst to join our team, focusing on the Kronos time and attendance system. As the go-to person for all things related to Kronos, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the system, keeping up with product enhancements, and advising on potential solutions. This is a key role, providing essential support for Retail Select’s rostering and time and attendance needs. You will work closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with legislative requirements, Modern Awards, Enterprise Bargaining Agreements, and company policies.
In addition to system administration and user support, you will be instrumental in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of payroll processes. This includes conducting audits, resolving pay discrepancies, and minimizing compliance risks. With the transition to the UKG Pro system, familiarity with both Kronos Ready and UKG Pro will be highly beneficial. Key Responsibilities
* Ensure the Kronos system functions correctly, staying up-to-date with product enhancements and advising on potential solutions.
* Act as the primary point of contact for all time and attendance inquiries, responding in a timely and accurate manner, and escalating issues as necessary.
* Assist Payroll Advisors in investigating potential payroll discrepancies related to time and attendance, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant legislation.
* Collaborate with the HR and Workplace Relations teams to ensure all legislative requirements are met and leverage expertise as required.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and issue resolution.

Skills & Experience
* 3-5 years of experience in a payroll team, with exposure to both salaried and award-based payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
* Solid experience with both Kronos Ready and UKG Pro, with the ability to navigate both systems and manage the upcoming transition effectively.
* Strong system configuration skills, including the creation of rules for time and attendance and troubleshooting potential issues.
* Proven ability to solve problems logically and efficiently, applying solutions within a team environment.
* Experience in designing processes and procedures to ensure standard work practices are followed across the team.
