Our Bajool Operations in Central Queensland are currently seeking a permanent HSEQ Coordinator to join our team (this is not a FIFO role). Bajool and Port Alma are about 40km south of Rockhampton and 40km north of Gladstone.

The HSEQ Coordinator sits within the site leadership team at site, influences at all levels, and is well supported by the site leaders and the National HSEQ Manager. The role is responsible for the following:
Driving continuous improvement in Quality, Safety and EnvironmentManaging and driving (through laboratory technicians) the accurate product testing, analysis, scoping, and implementation of site safety systemsSupporting the Production, Manufacturing & Maintenance teams with hazard identification and management, ensuring reporting of incidents and outcomes are actioned in a timely fashionCoordinating Safety & Environment issues, committees, training and rehabilitation of any employee that may have suffered a work-related injuryAssisting the site to comply with relevant certification and engage in external compliance auditsFacilitating and supporting the induction of new employees and contractors to the company's safety and environmental policies and procedures.About you You have recently graduated and are looking to start your career with a company where you'll be well supported. You are results oriented, with a high level of attention to detail and strong administrative skills. You have highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships at all levels. You love systems and using data to drive positive outcomes for the team.
