Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and implementation of segment/portfolio specific sales strategies, including undertaking pipeline management and forecasting activities to achieve sales revenue growth, translating this into sales targets, productivity plans and roadmaps for the team to execute.
• Identify and build team capability development opportunities and provide guidance and coaching to direct reports.
• Develop sales and product capability across the sales team through training and coaching activities to build a high performing team environment.
• Identify staff risk and build succession planning into retention operating rhythm.
• Make decisions related to team planning across all functions, including prioritization of the portfolio of customers and team member delegations in each quarter to ensure appropriate coverage and achieve customer and sales targets.
• Monitor, evaluate and report on the performance of sales across portfolio/segment, identifying and acting on risks/barriers to the achievement of outcomes (daily call volumes, pipeline cadence, targets, service and sales escalations) across the sales team including resolving service and sales escalations.
• Authentically engage and collaborate with team members and key stakeholders across the business (e.g. Territory Specialist, Technical Consultation Specialist, Subject Matter Experts etc) to identify and act on opportunities to grow sales (new and existing), boost productivity and develop innovative ways to improve business outcomes.
