Make History."Key job responsibilitiesPartner with our Retail, Cross Border, Merchant fulfilled network and Fulfilled By Amazon business teams to manage costs and influence decision making that impacts our businesses' bottom-line profitabilityPartner and liaise with all business channel teams and Supply Chain to launch new Inbound programs aimed at driving process improvements and cost savings for optimal inventory placement and movementsWork with key stakeholders to determine key performance indicators, regular business metrics and monitor progress towards goalsPreparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly results including variance analysis versus plan and forecast risks and opportunitiesMonth end close responsibilities including working with our Accounting team on financial treatment of transactionsDevelopment of BI reports and provision of action-orientated analytics to support stakeholders with commercial decision supportProactively work with the business owners on root cause analyses and solution implementation to optimise our network to drive cost outs and improve efficienciesImprove tools, processes, scale existing solutions, create new solutions as required based on stakeholder needsBASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)Experience in financial modeling, P&L management or analysis4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experienceExperience with cube engine tools (e.g. TM1, Cognos or Essbase), SQL and Data warehouseExperience working with stakeholdersPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSMBA, or CPA4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experienceExperience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
