About the Role: An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Senior Podiatrist within the Intermediate Care Service, located at both GP Elizabeth and GP Modbury sites. The Allied Health Chronic Disease Intermediate Care Service bring together Dietetic, Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy, Podiatry, Physiotherapy, Social Work and Case Management services working collaboratively with services from the NALHN Clinical Divisions and Aboriginal Health Services to optimise health outcomes and reduce hospital admissions for patients with Diabetes, Cardiac and Respiratory Diseases, and vulnerable people with other chronic diseases. As a Senior Podiatrist, you will play a pivotal role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a diverse range of foot and lower limb conditions. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans, educating patients on preventative measures, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and holistic care. To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration with the Podiatry Board of Australia.
