About the Role BBC Studios is looking to hire a full-time Senior Promo Creative to produce and edit on-air promos and marketing assets for use on our BBC branded channels & streaming platforms in Australia and New Zealand. This is an exciting and dynamic role suitable for a Senior Promo Creative with at least 7 years' experience working in a broadcast environment. Reporting to the Head of Creative, you will be responsible for the creation and delivery of promotional campaigns, on-air promos and branded assets using Premiere Pro. Skilled in ideation, editing, script writing, directing audio and briefing design, you will be comfortable pitching concepts to stakeholders and mentoring others. As part of the BBC Studios ANZ Creative Team, you will work collaboratively with your creative colleagues on concept development, execution, and delivery of assets for all of our BBC branded services. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities To create distinctive, innovative, and effective promotional assets for multiple platforms. Develop pitch decks and present concepts to stakeholders. Work to brief and ensure all creative approaches are insights-based and meet objectives. Collaborate effectively with other departments including marketing and programming, ensuring you maintain excellent relationships throughout. Direct audio mixes, brief motion graphics, and demonstrate creative expertise in your work. Be fully accountable for the quality and delivery of your work, including mastering and archiving when required, with high attention to detail. Act as brand guardian for channels and content, ensuring all creative output is 'on brand'. Help to coach fellow creatives, providing feedback and sharing inspiration, ideas, and best practices in a regular and informal manner. Quality control and approval of assets prior to final delivery when required. Collaborate enthusiastically with fellow creative, design and production members of our compact ANZ creative team, working together to ensure the success of our team and remit. Knowledge, Skills, Training & Experience 7+ years creative and media industry experience producing video-based content. You are a self-starter able to juggle multiple projects and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, working both independently and collaboratively. A proven track record of creative excellence within the TV promotion industry. Ability to work as part of a creative team, contributing to the development of concepts and providing expertise to enhance the overall creative output. Experience in development and guardianship of channel branding, OSP kits, and style guides. Experience editing on Adobe Premiere and a thorough knowledge of the appropriate production processes, relevant tools, and techniques. Experience in working to small budgets whilst maximizing creative output. Good written and verbal communication skills to pitch ideas clearly, sell your work to stakeholders, and provide feedback to team members. Directing voice overs, audio sessions, and motion graphics. Excellent attention to detail and eye for potential errors. Technical aptitude and an ability to learn new systems and processes. Experience in self-operating / directing small shoots utilizing DSLR and LED / Keynote lights is desirable. Experience working with external agencies is desirable.
