It’s imperative the candidate is the right fit for our culture. The Maintenance Coordinator reports to the Building Manager and is part of the Maintenance team.The key focus of this role is managing the inbox to schedule and coordinate 3-month maintenance checks for clients post-handover whilst supporting the wider maintenance team. More specifically, you will:Monitor and maintain the Maintenance inboxLiaise with clients and allocate tasks to Maintenance team and Suppliers/Trades for inspections, maintenance service dates and general maintenance requirementsManage calendars and processing of paperwork for maintenance itemsProduce service requests, purchase orders and inspection reports relating to scope of workComplete follow-up calls and emails with customers to ensure completed work satisfaction and provide the customer with their updated inspection reportFollow up on outstanding orders and service requests, this will require outbound calls to our service providersManage and liaise with clients (and neighbours) for fencing noticesQuarterly Australian Bureau of Statistics reportingAssist with general administrative duties, including but not limited to scanning, filing and typingTHE CANDIDATEFirst and foremost we are looking for someone with a “can do” attitude and who is aligned to our core values, looking for a company to reignite their career. A motivated team player would also need key attributes as:Minimum of 2 years in residential construction, preferably in a maintenance coordinator roleExperience in administration, including scheduling/coordinatingPrevious experience in a customer support role and exceptional workflow managementAn ability to show empathy, communicate with clients and various teams to provide information and updates on maintenance worksKnowledge of property maintenance, building & construction processes is preferable but not essentialOutstanding prioritisation, organisational, and planning abilities with the ability to work under pressureAbility to delegate and manage maintenance programs autonomouslyHighly motivated individual with a positive outlook and willingness to find solutions to achieve desirable outcomesWE OFFERAn energetic workplace that is ideal for the right candidate to foster their career.
