McArthur are currently seeking applications for the position of Publications Coordinator, to work with our government client in a month role.
Specific duties of the Publications Coordinator include:
1.Coordinate the quality and timely production, publication and distribution of new scientific publications, according to the publications workplan.
2.Commission, coordinate and supervise the full range of publication production services as required, which may include writing, substantive and copy editing, proofreading, indexing, graphic design, typesetting,printing, and web with the Publications Manager, research program managers, authors and other members of the team, as required, at relevant stages of the production process.
4.Establish and manage contracts with all contractors (freelance editors, graphic designers, printers and other publishing professionals) in line with the Commonwealth Procurement Guidelines.
5.Coordinate the timely distribution of publications to registrations and lodgement tasks associated with publications produced.
7.Contribute to the continuous improvement of the publication production and distribution program.
