As our business grows, we currently have full-time permanent opportunities for qualified Trades professionals to work at our advanced world-class manufacturing facility based in Port Melbourne to commence in January 2025. The roles will primarily be based on afternoon shift but flexibility is required to work on day and night shift if required.

What will I be doing?
Working in a supportive team environment, you will be trained in the pre and post production processes of aircraft components, exercising high precision trade skills using various material and/or specialist manufacturing techniques. Absolutely no previous experience in our industry required. We have a three-shift operation but it is essential that you’re available to do afternoon shift:
Day Shift: 6am – 2:30pm
Afternoon Shift: 2:30pm / 3pm – 11pm / 11:30pm (15% Salary loading)
Night Shift: 10pm – 6:30am (30% Salary loading)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
13. Australian recognized Trade qualification (Certificate III or above) is essential
14. Completion of a trade Apprenticeship backed with relevant experience working in your trade
15. Literacy and numeracy skills to follow and interpret work instructions and engineering drawings
16. Hand skills with a high level of attention to detail under repetitive conditions
17. Ability to work independently or part of a diverse team towards a common goal and to agreed deadlines
18. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
19. Enjoy working with hands and physical work
20. Basic computer skills
21. Commitment to OHS procedures
22. Reliable and willingness to work afternoon shift is essential
23. Full, unrestricted working rights for Australia.

Additional Information:
This is an Enterprise Agreement position classified as a Base Tradesperson. Starting salary: $89,549 + 11.5% Super and will increase to $92,240 + 11.5% Super upon successful completion of training. Candidates will be required to complete background checks and successfully complete a 3-month probationary period.
