Clinical Nurse Consultant (Chronic Kidney Disease) Deliver advanced holistic patient care in the inpatient, out-patient and community settings including comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patients with Chronic Kidney Disease. An opportunity has become available for a Clinical Nurse Consultant (Chronic Kidney Disease) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12,000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia. You will Apply advanced specialist skills in planning and coordination in the clinical management of Chronic Kidney disease patients Safely and effectively perform evidence-based invasive and/or non-invasive interventions Prescribe indicated non-pharmacological and pharmacological interventions Act as a support person and a resource for expert clinical care needs, work collaboratively with patients, their families and the broader healthcare team Support and promote personal and professional growth of the clinicians About you To be successful in this position you will require: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia A Masters or higher qualification within a relevant area is highly desirable Driver Licence Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost) Base salary ranging from $132,562 - $143,924 per annum or $5,081.10 - $5,516.60 per fortnight About Us Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service Renal Service provides management of adult patients with acute kidney injuries and chronic kidney disease, including dialysis and work-up for transplant and post-transplant management.
