UGL heavy maintenance facility based in Bassendean, Perth are seeking applications from Heavy Diesel Fitters for engine & component rebuild work.
These positions will be permanent full-time opportunities working on a dayshift 6.00 am to 2.30 pm.
This role is not suitable for Student or Working Holiday Visa.
About the role
* Diagnose and repair faults in diesel engines and heavy machinery.
* Perform routine maintenance and servicing of equipment.
* Conduct thorough inspections to ensure machinery is operating efficiently.
* Document repairs, including parts used and time spent on tasks.
* Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure deadlines are met.
* Comply with all safety protocols and company policies.
About You
* Full Australian unlimited working rights.
* Proven experience as a Diesel Fitter or in a similar role.
* Strong understanding of diesel engines and heavy machinery.
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
* Relevant trade qualifications and certifications.
* Valid driver’s license.
