Principal Business Analyst and Reporting
We are seeking a dedicated Analyst and Reporting resource to identify and quantify improvements within our business. You will provide comprehensive and meaningful information, analysis, and reporting that will empower our enterprise in achieving its strategic, financial, operational, and commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Using your business analyst skills, work with Operational and Commercial subject matter experts to identify the key questions that need answers in the form of data evidence.
2. Analyse and challenge a range of relevant data to uncover insightful trends that drive commercial, financial, and operational outcomes.
3. Coordinate the development of impactful reports, plans, and forecasts as required.
4. Develop, manage, and maintain models, processes, frameworks, and tools for thorough analysis and monitoring.
5. Provide expert advice and recommendations to enhance financial, commercial, and operational outcomes.
6. Assist in creating contracts, business cases, reports, and presentations for various stakeholders.
7. Drive projects and initiatives by offering expert guidance to support enterprise planning and decision-making.
8. Support training and development activities to boost team capabilities.
9. Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across teams and business areas.
Specific Skills:
1. Strong analytical, conceptual, interpretation, and problem-solving skills that deliver commercial value.
2. Expertise in compiling meaningful reports and presentations tailored for diverse audiences.
3. Excellent consultation and relationship management skills with a proven track record in influencing stakeholders.
4. Ability to identify, summarize, and present complex issues clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
5. Exceptional time management, planning, and organizational skills, capable of managing competing priorities.
6. Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
7. Proven ability to promote collaboration within teams and across functions.
8. Experience in Logistics and Rail would be an advantage.
9. Experience in Data Transformation and creating reporting Data Models would be an advantage.
10. Experience in Power BI or other Data Visualisation tool.
