About the role
As a Registered Nurse – Emergency Department your responsibilities will include:
1. Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care
2. Provide complex and multi-disciplinary care
3. Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs
4. Act as a role model for Safe Practice
5. Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery
Minimum Requirements:
1. Authority to Work in Australia
2. Minimum 2+ years working in Emergency care
3. Working with Children check (if relevant)
4. Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
5. Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
6. Demonstrated experience in emergency or critical care nursing
7. Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
8. Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
9. Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
10. Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused
11. Flexibility to work a roster of Morning and Afternoon shifts as well as Saturdays when required

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope - Victoria - Nurses Enterprise Agreement 2021 - 2025" (salaries range between $35.33 to $47.25)
